F/A 129 "Storm" (Cold War Challenge Entry)
The F/A 129 "Storm" came into life as a thoroughbread fighter aircraft but soon showed itself to be a most capable attack aircraft. The aircraft is fitted with one M61 Vulcan autocannon integrated on the left side of the pilot with the air refueling boom situated on the right. It has two powerful jet engines powering the aircraft to around mach 1.5 without armament or drop tanks.
The special fuel needed to power the two engines is what gives the afterburner its signature blue flame. Specializing in off shore air combat, the aircraft has been retrofitted with 100 degree folding wings for more efficient storage on aircraft carriers, an arresting hook, catapult launch system and a drogue shute for short airstrip landings on forward operating bases.
This particular aircraft trim is fitted with four air to air missiles, two bombs, one 50mm autocannon in a designated gun pod on its belly and two sizable drop tanks for extended range as well as a chaff unit for missile evasion.
Special controls:
VTOL - Elevator trim
Trim - Wing folding
AG1 - Arresting hook
AG2 - Drogue shute
AG3 - Jettison armament
AG8 - Lights

@ShrimpRex Cool! Yeah, I will have that to you in a week or two. I'm really busy with school, so I'm not really doing testing until the last day
