High speed aircraft with detacher launch sled. Take off or launch (from the ground) at around 200 mph. When using sled detaches with AG 1. Notice the difference in speed and acceleration if you use the sled or not. There's a considerably drop in speed an acceleration if you use the sled, even though you detach it on take off.
If you use the sled, at a heading of 0 and an altitude of 2000 feet it will reach about 800 mph by the time it passes the first island. Without the sled, you'll hit a speed of about 1400 mph at the same point. when it reaches

I always enjoy it when it's a new concept. This is cool.
The problem is (thankfully) specific to this build or the ultra low drag. When I built a simple test jet the sled didn't reduce the speed at all.
Oh, if you use just a detacher an one wheel it will hit 1150 mph at the first island. So it seems to be some sort of artifact of the sled.
