This Kadco. built, triple engined Aircraft was built for a number of roles. Primarily an interceptor, The plane can be used for aerial recon, troop evacuations, executive transport, you name it. This plane also led the famous evacuation of the Tarply airport (South runway on old island) During a siege by the northern commies. Thanks to th speed and incredible agility of the plane, The north could not scramble their turboprop fighters to intercept and shoot down the plane that later made history by allowing our troops to regain strength and develop new tactics and technology.

As for strength and tech, I am of course talking about the update. Now that my lesson on simpleplanes lore is over, this thing really does turn incredibly fast and maxes out near 950 mph at 20k feet. It was quite slow for 3 engines with plenty of air, but eh. It has some pitching down problems, but with its agility, it isn't hard to keep it straight if you have your thumb on the joystick.
