”What’s that coming from the left?”
-Unknown American bomber crew
The Me-43 was an experimental aircraft that saw limited use in 1943. Designed and produced by Messerschmitt with only 23 being built and another 2 being modified with different weapons and detection equipment. The aircraft was originally meant for intercepting poorly defended bomber formations and smaller air patrols. It was equipped with 6 long range air-to-air missiles, the Me-43 was capable of engaging the enemy without the risk of being engaged. However if needed the aircraft was also equipped with two rotary cannons but dog fighting was highly discouraged due to the aircraft’s poor turn rate and unstable flight when attempting quick changes in direction. The Allies have never seen a full image of the Me-43 because of this fact. Allied pilots dubbed it the Nightmare and the Germans thought it fitting so they took the name and translated it to their language, Albtraum. It was considered a long range heavy interceptor.
Make sure you set the trim as low as you can get it.

im so confused who is this guy
@JolyLoly
It's a style I find very interesting, I see plenty of experimental German aircraft with the mid fuselage prop.
interesting design, love it!
@Mustang51
Thanks! That was a thought I had while making it. It does look big enough for one of the conversions I mentioned in the lore.
This thing looks really cool! It would be cool to see it as a bomber as well I think. It looks perfect for that
@MTakach
I would have done more but I saw the part count and decided to leave it for the memes.
probably your best one yet!
