Introduction:
The FC-1 fighter aircraft (English: FC-1/JF-17 fighter aircraft; Chinese code name: Dragon; Pakistani code name: JF-17, nickname: Thunder, translation: Thunderbolt; once known as the Super-7 in the early stages of its development) is a joint venture between China and Pakistan in the late 1990s, a joint venture of Chengdu Aircraft Industry (Group) Company and Chengdu Aircraft Industry (Group) Limited (CAPIL), a subsidiary of the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AIC). (Ltd, Chengdu Aircraft Design Institute, China National Aero-Technology Import and Export Corporation, and the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) participated in the development of the third-generation all-weather, single-engine, advanced multi-role light fighter.
The first test flight was conducted on August 25, 2003, and in 2007 it was delivered to the Pakistan Air Force.
