T-F Firestorm

162k spefyjerbf  8.4 years ago

This tank uses a rotator-based suspension on its 4 treads. This means that it preforms very well on rugged terrain. It also boasts a set of deadly short range mortars, that have the power of a boom 50.

Activator 1 increases speed and could possibly improve stability, at the price of controlability (Drifting, man.)

To use the mortars:
VTOL up to raise the mortars, bring the tank to a stop. Activators 2, 3, 4, 5, and 5 will launch the mortar shells.

Trim raises the miniguns.

I would like any feedback on this build. Please enjoy!

@Ephwurd Yep, all of my non-airplanes are built that way. My son had me change the input on the TF Firestorm as he's adopted it as his own. XD

@DragonAerotech Me too I set the engine input to pitch its much easier to handle

This thing is FUN and can handle some pretty rugged terrain. The only thing I would have changed is to change the engines to respond to pitch rather than throttle as the speed can get away on you with throttle and pitch allows you to coast AND reverse. Loved the rescaled boom-50s as a multi-shot mortar and the miniguns are a great touch too.
