Victoria M5A6 MBT
(1) for turret. (2) for Cmdr's MG. (3) for hatches. (4) to fire gun. Pitch controls elevation, roll controls traverse. Throttle controls Cmdr's hatch, LandingGear controls driver's hatch. The Victoria M5A6 follows the tradition of the Victoria M5 as the most heavily armored and heavily armed main battle tank in existence. Featuring a 155mm M8A1 coilgun, improved overall turret armor and frontal hull armor, and upgraded suspension and transmission, the M5A6 is easily the most powerful tank in the world. A combination of thick armor and excellent sloping allow the Victoria to withstand hits from the world's most powerful tank guns. In addition, it features incredible firepower, the 155mm M8A1 coilgun being one of the most potent anti-armor weapons. While slow, it is quite maneuverable for a 70-ton main battle tank. It is manned by a crew of three; Commander, Gunner, and Driver.

@PINK So, a 62.5 ton tank?
It was noted that the Victoria is a 70 ton tank, but has much lower ground pressure due to the wider tracks.
@Pilotmario 125,000 lbs
@PINK How heavy is the MBT-9A?
@Pilotmario We are intent on winding tracks on all of our tanks.
@PINK The 155mm gun was designed to counter Awwami heavy tanks.
We also felt it was overkill, until the 33rd Armored Division "Winged Hussars" roflstomped the Awwami Army in Seattle because these guns allowed them to engage them at distances which the Awwami gunners had no hope of even hitting. Troops liked it because the 155mm HE shell was highly effective, and the beehive ammunition with armor-piercing tips were incredibly effective against Awwami armor suits, even through thick brush and mature trees.
The Victoria is not only a heavier vehicle, but has lower ground pressure than the MBT-9A. This means it is less affected by recoil, and distributes its weight better.
Both have similarly good gun sights, we just deemed a 155mm gun to be over kill. @Pilotmario
I would say the Victoria has the edge in firepower due to its 155mm cannon and highly accurate gunsights. @PINK
Yeah . . . . @Pilotmario
It depends who shoots first. @PINK
@DankDorito Also, MBT-9s operate in packs of 4 or 5.
@Pilotmario What if their was suddenly a group of MBT-9s?
@DankDorito We found out that what matters in a tank vs. tank engagement is who's going to shoot first. Awwami Khalid tanks in the Azores often found themselves limited to certain areas of the terrain, where M4 Scorpions and M8 General Burns were able to engage them successfully with flanking shots into the side of the turret with 90mm railguns. This was because of the superior mobility and stealth of the light tanks. The M8 is the stealthiest tank in the world, and the M4 Scorpion, while not as stealthy, is a low-profile vehicle and has been fitted with some of the upgrades.
As you are operating defensively, you would have the vital first-shot advantage. The Victoria's powerful cannon mean that it has a wider range of areas which to engage from. The heavy armor will favor long-range engagements, where armor is most effective due to the loss of shell velocity. However, at close ranges, the poor traverse of the vehicle compared to modern machines means that it is vulnerable to being outflanked by faster machines. Despite this, it is incredibly difficult to engage and kill a Victoria, and often when a commander must retreat in the face of a pursuing army, they leave behind a concealed Victoria crewed by men and women with nothing to lose in death. The ensuring havoc caused by a lone bogeyman romping behind their lines is sometimes enough to allow a counter-offensive.
But in a head-on fight, the Victoria tanks would win if they could engage at range, and the MBT-2 tanks would need to close the distance in order to get flush shots into the side of a Victoria at 200m.
The rear armor can be penetrated by a flush shot at 500m, however, and this would be the objective.
In the meantime, the Victoria's 155mm M8 coilgun can punch through the upper glacis plate of the MBT-2 at ranges of 3,000m and front turret at 2,500m.
@Pilotmario
So if there were 2 of these and 3 MBT-2s
Who would win?
@DankDorito As of now, yes, according to GoldenEagle. Although a bit heavy, very expensive, and not particularly fast compared to other tanks, it is still fairly mobile, has a reliable engine, is very well-armed, has an accurate cannon, and is incredibly tough. Despite the greater reliability, easier maintenance, and high mobility of the Ardent, tank crews prefered the Victoria simply because they know that if they're inside the toughest thing on the battlefield.
Several other names for this tank include "Vicky" with most crews (a variation being "Vicky Six" to distinguish it from the M5A5, or "Vicky Five") and "girlfriend for three" (the previous Victoria tanks used "girlfriend for four" due to the use of a manual loader), "Luby" ("dear") or "kochanie" ("darling") by Polish crews, or "Zulfaqir" (Muhammad's legendary sword, conceptually similar to Excalibur in terms of power) and "Khalid" ("immortal" in Arabic, later known as "Sahih Al-Khalid" or "true immortal" to distinguish it from the Awwami Khalid tank) by North African crews.
It was also known by its name Victoria in other languages, such as "Wiktoria" in Polish and "Faykturia" in Arabic.
@Pilotmario
Is this the best tank in the RP?
@Pilotmario maybe... most...
@Wahoo12 It's better than most things I have to fight.
Your upper hull slope is vastly inferior
Okay. @Pilotmario
I see. @PINK
@Pilotmario
@Pilotmario Our gaps aren't as large . . . we went with the Merkava's method for defeating shaped-charges.
@PINK We fill our gaps with air.
We fill our spaced armor with; water, diesel, and water for a reason. @Pilotmario
@Pilotmario cool!
