Introduction:

The A-10 attack aircraft is a single-seat, twin-engine attack aircraft of the U.S. The A-10 attack aircraft specializes in ground attack by relying on powerful firepower, and is the only type in service in the U.S. Air Force that is responsible for providing intensive support missions to ground forces, including attacks on enemy tanks, armed vehicles, and critical ground targets.
The A-10C is an upgraded version of the Precision Engagement (PE) program for the A-10A.
