In order to counter the growing threat posed by the speed of the light tank, HR Incorporated have designed the sherman 9, a fast, agile, and powerfull medium tank. With the armor of a heavy, and the speed of a medium, the sherman 9 shocked opposing tank battalions. In the initiall charge, the olypmian defence corps, sure of the power of their artemis and light tanks, recklesly charged the once allied HR battle collumn, only to discover that their smoothbore cannons were incapable of peicing the sherman 9's heavy armor. Seeing this, they scattered, hopeing to draw out the battle formation, and then flank the lone tanks with the artemis's speed. Only, upon executing this manuver, the artemis tanks were blown to bits by the sherman 9's hypersonic cannons, which were able to penetrate the artemis's rear armor plating. However, despite their success, the sherman 9 program was cancled, due to the high cost of the carbon fibre topped, lightweight titanium steel plates. The sherman 9 als suffered from a less powerful gun, due to the majority of the tank space being devoted to engine power.
