F2A Buffalo
F2A Buffalo
Finnish Air Force, 1941, The Continuation War
Historical
The Brewster F2A Buffalo is an American fighter aircraft which saw service early in World War II. Several nations, including Finland, Belgium, Britain and the Netherlands, ordered the Buffalo. The Finns were the most successful with their Buffalos, flying them in combat against early Soviet fighters with excellent results. During the Continuation War of 1941–1944, the B-239s (de-navalized F2A-1) operated by the Finnish Air Force proved capable of engaging and destroying most types of Soviet fighter aircraft operating against Finland at that time and achieving in the first phase of that conflict 32 Soviet aircraft shot down for every B-239 lost, and producing 36 Buffalo "aces".

Flight Notes:
For takeoff, extend flaps half way.
On landing, extend them fully.
If you enter a stall, extend the flaps fully and let the plane do its thing. At around 150 mph, try to regain control.
Other Notes:
An absolutely massive thanks to 47parzival41 for helping to make this fly. Two weeks ago, I found myself with the fuselage, wings, cockpit, and just about everything else built. When I went to go take it for a spin, if didn’t work. So, off to the Forums I went. In less than a day, 47parzival41 had the plane working correctly. Make sure to go check out their page!
Also, before anybody gets offended, the Finns used the swastika before the Germans did.
