The KRIEG SH-90 Lynx is a Paternian anti-submarine helicopter based off the KRIEG 690 utility helicopter. While the type as not accepted for use by the Paternian Army and Marine Corps, it was adopted by the Paternian Navy and Coast Guard as the H-90 Lynx. This particular variant is an anti-submarine warfare variant equipped with a pair of Mk 55 aerial torpedoes, a pair of AGM-290D HSLAM Puffin for anti-ship duties, a pair of AGM-70C Inferno for use agaisnt light surface craft, and two 100-gallon drop tanks. It includes the potent AN/APS-190 search radar for detecting submarine periscopes, ESM masts, or snorkels, in addition to dipping snoar and magnetic anomally detection array.

Entering service in 1982 to replace the SH-2 Athenian ASW variant of the H-2 Trojan, it remains in active service. During the Japan War, Paternian ASW craft, notably the SH-90 Lynx, were lethal against concentrated Sentian submarine strikes. Lynx helicopters claimed 15 submarines, 12 fast attack craft, 28 merchant ships, and 16 missile boats. They also participated in land strikes against Sentian targets in Hokkaido, although they were soon withdrawn, as the need for ASW aircraft was pressing.

Two Lynx were shot down by ground fire in such actions. An additional aircraft was lost in an aborted landing with all crew surviving. Three Lynx were lost when their ships (two aboard PRN DDG-912 David M. Welsh and one aboard PRN FFG-818 Scorpion) were sunk to naval mines.
