The highly experimental Crooked Foot is an asymmetrical WWII fighter plane with a powerful prototype lazer cannon. Two prototypes were built but during one of the test flights, the cannon overheated and caught the center wing on fire causing the plane to split in two killing the pilot. The other was never flown and the Crooked Foot never made it to production. Taking off can be a little tricky, best way is to pull up as you accelerate.
