The plane :
The Boeing 747-8 is a wide-body commercial aircraft manufactured by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Boeing officially announced this project in 2005, the evolution of the 747-8 is the latest variant of the Boeing 747 by extending the fuselage, redesigning the wings and improving fuel efficiency. It is also capable of flying at a speed of mach 0.85 (917 km/h) and is one of the fastest subsonic aircraft in the world.

The airlines :
Lufthansa is the largest airline in Europe by number of passengers carried (second is Air France – KLM), and the national airline of Germany. The company name comes from the words Luft (a German word meaning "air"), and Hansa (from the Hansean League, the strongest medieval trading group).
