Jupiter from Lost in Space 2018... kinda
Okay. Let me get the story out of the way first. I started by ATTEMPTING to build a replica of the Jupiter from the new reboot of Lost in Space. I got close to the basic shape and the general colour scheme before giving up and going purely by my own imagination. I think what I have created is pretty good but that is for you to judge.
CONTROLS:
Throttle up for VTOL engines and basic motion.
Trim to control angle of VTOL nozzles (Up to go forward and down, back to go backwards and down and center to hover in place or ascend.)
Pitch and roll do what they should—but it is very hard to fly this way.
Use forward trim (Around 40-50% forward trim should maintain height) and yaw instead.
To turn on the big boosters in the back, use act 1 + trim forward.
This design is extremely hard to master but rewarding and really fun. Enjoy!
