About

The DRJ-1-20 Confrontaliner is an extended version of the previous one. It was published in 1992 at the request of an airline for a version that could carry more passengers on inaccessable airports in some remote routes. About 500 aircrafts are built (2024).
Because the confrontation between SL Aviation Bureau and Denalov Corporation had an impact on the development of the aircraft, this aircraft was informally referred as the "Confrontaliner".
