a bit of a different build, and maybe one of a few on the site if not the first one. its a simple little thing that i was playing around with the gyro and how it controls a plane. you can take some of the principals of this test but please give me credit and tag me on what you make, i would like to see my idea blossom.
some history on this
This sprang from am annoyance to the gyro and how It limited the pitch and roll authority and effectiveness, so I concocted this peice of absolute garbage. This handles like a sack of crap with wings( more on it in flight basics below). Its a good proof of concept for me ( my first in sp that was actually good I mean project sea bear was good but it didn't really affect the sp flight and all that). I will be coming out with some other models hopefully with control surfaces but instead of losing the effectiveness with the gyro have the gyro move so it helps it out alot.
flight basics
1) Dont pitch to hard and make sure you have at least 400mph before you make hard maneuvers
2) its roll rate is super slow to make a full circle it would take about 1-2 minutes. To make a good turn put more pitch than roll
3) for pitch it will go vertical but it wont make a full roll but you can climb really fast
4) the speed isn't very fast for pitch and roll or it will just stall out. Try putting inputs right when you spawn in and see it just flop around and you can lose alot of speed the worst I found was around 160mph.

This thing flies like a sack of crap, with wings. If your expecting high maneuverability then look elsewhere, this will surely disappoint you

@Musraskrois yea it could fly worse. It would get out of control if I didn't have it set to this, but I didn't do to much testing, probably only 5 hours worth of testing and tweaking.

@WarshipDude I just slapped on a shape and started experimenting. Shape isn't as important as the results of the experiment, and it proves that a gyro controlled plane could work, just not very well.
