This is an epic plane capable of vertical take offs and landings into the water and onto land. Couple things though: If you use VTOL to take off, activate group 1 and throttle up to 100%. Keep the plane level (RCN also activated with group 1) and ascend to about 500 feet above the takeoff area. Then, activate group 2 and wait a little bit for the jets to kick in fully. Then pull up while you de activate group 1. Trim should be set to about a quarter of the way to the first upper notch.
