The Airbus A300 is Airbus's first production aircraft and the world's first twin-engine, double-aisle (wide-body) airliner, developed and manufactured by Airbus from 1971 to 2007.

Wright Air (branded as Wright International Airways) is the flag-carrier of the Wright Isles founded in 1963. The Airbus A300s of Wright Air were first delivered in the early 80s, mainly B4s, around the 90s they recieved A300-600Rs. These A300s were used for short-range flights. In 2007, Wright Air began retiring their A300B4s, but the A300-600Rs are still in service as of 2024.
