The Heinkel He-112 series was a competitor to the Messerschmitt Bf-109 for production as Luftwaffe’s new main fighter. The B series was a complete overhaul of the design, changing fuselage, wing surface, armaments and many other things. Ultimately, the Bf-109 still won the competition, leaving the Heinkel 112 as just an export fighter in the forgotten pages of history.
