Brief history
In 1947 continuing the success of the japanese imperial navy through out the Pacific thanks to the new heavy fighter bomber designed by Mitsubishi Heavy Industry in 1945 nicknamed the By allied forces "FLYING DRAGON" , this aircraft received wide applause by the japanese and respected by allied pilots when encountering it , the aircraft was first conceive by Lt.Gen Genzo Mukade in 1944 as a flying heavy hitting fighter that can fill in the role of a Bomber and engage fighters , the aircraft is fitted with spaced armour plates which gives the aircraft the survivability as a tank while maintaining a light weight airframe while in flight , after the production of the aircraft , the IJN ordered 150 Type O Aircraft converted into seaplanes , this modification allowed the aircraft to be used in Seaplane tenders And AMPHIBIOUS ASSAULT SHIPS of the japanese imperial navy , the most common and famous said ship to have ever flew one of this and sunk 5 USN aircraft carriers is the IJN SHIKIMARU a AMPHIBIOUS ASSAULT SHIP she carries 10 Type O in her internal hangar , This aircraft is the aircraft that where used by IJN TAIGA in the battle of Cagayan Valley in the Philippines as a covert Night bomber and fighter
