The sopwith triplane was the succesir of the sopwith pup introduced in 1916 it quickly became king of the skies with its superb handling and climb rate it could reach a speed of 120mph even faster then the sopwith camel it's Basicly a pup with an extra set of wings it inspired the germans to create the fokker dr1 driedekker and was eventually outclassed and replaced by the sopwith camel! This one features the same speed and agility as the real one although it's tricky to land it can take off from USS tiny and reach an altitude of 10000ft in less than 5 mins HAVE FUN!

43.9k PlanesOfOld@corey1324 it simulates a triplane structural faliure (why this one was replaced by the sopwith camel) if a wing got shot off especially the top wing it can pull all the wings off sometimes in a vertical dive the wings fell off anyway :) but triplanes are the best no matter how dangerous they are they tend to crash on landing and take off due to gusts of wind lifting the three wings at low speed that results in a stall but anyway if you play any of my planes (the multi wing ones) you will know not to press 1 unless you are crash testing it and like to see planes crash (witch I do)9.7 years ago
