|| History ||
The Aichi D3A was a WW2 japanese carrier-borne dive bomber and was the primary dive bomber of the Imperial Japanese Navy until it was replaced by the Yokosuka D4Y.
The D3A was the first Japanese aircraft to bomb the American targets in the war, attacking Pearl Harbor and the Philipines bases. The Vals sank more Allied warships than any other Axis aircraft, including some vital targets like the HMS Cornwall (Heavy Cruiser), HMS Dorsetshire (Heavy Cruiser) and HMS Hermes (Aircraft Carrier) in only one raid.
It was a bit slow but it was very hard to take down due to his reliable engine, toughness and a nice defense against fighters with 2 forward firing and 1 rear firing Type 97 machine guns.
|| About this specific plane ||
This Aichi D3A1 is painted with the IJN Kaga Aircraft carrier command schemes. It was the same plane that took part in the Pearl Harbor raid. The pilots were Saburo Makino and Yukio Nagamine.

Landing in an aircraft carrier: Same as standard.
You can use the flaps for climbing too... set the VTOL at 25% down. This will help you when climbing.

Enjoy it!!
