History

Takao was the lead vessel in the Takao-class heavy cruisers, active in World War II with the Imperial Japanese Navy. These were the largest cruisers in the Japanese fleet, and were intended to form the backbone of a multipurpose long-range strike force. Her sister ships were Atago, Maya and Chokai. Takao was the only ship of her class to survive the war. She was surrendered to British forces at Singapore in September 1945, then sunk as a target ship in 1946. (Wikipedia)

Rant

hey guys, i know its not very much like me to post one ship after the previous one within a few days. I'm actually quite happy with how this ship turned out. I for some reason had struggled on how to fit everything into the ship like the original so there are stuff that are placed not proportionally to the original. Oh well. Yes i managed to make the propeller and rudder work as how it should be in real life and not using hidden jet engines on rotators. The reason i make this ship was her appearance on the movie Godzilla Minus One, and while she got obliterated in her short screen time, but that particular scene spawned a lot of memes so i just felt like building it. Also, i'm still on holiday with family but will be going back to Surakarta in 2 weeks, so yeah i had to bid goodbye to my family sooner or later. Anyways, i hope you like the ship and have fun with it. Thank you for downloading and trying her out, and i'll see you guys in some sunny day. Goodbye
