This is SOFIA
Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy
The Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA) was an 80/20 joint project of NASA and the German Aerospace Center (DLR)[1] to construct and maintain an airborne observatory. NASA awarded the contract for the development of the aircraft, operation of the observatory and management of the American part of the project to the Universities Space Research Association (USRA) in 1996. The DSI (Deutsches SOFIA Institut) manages the German parts of the project which were primarily science- and telescope-related. SOFIA's telescope saw first light on May 26, 2010. SOFIA was the successor to the Kuiper Airborne Observatory. During 10-hour, overnight flights, it observed celestial magnetic fields, star-forming regions, comets, nebulae, and the Galactic Center.
Science flights have now concluded, after the landing of the 921st and last flight in the early morning of September 30, 2022. The project will continue to work with legacy data for a few years

@braedenLovesPlanessss I was probably looking at a different plane and went to this page, not realizing that I'm not a different aircraft page
@braedenLovesPlanessss lmao......Yeah..I did get carried away... It was a phase...lol.. I'm over it now...
z
😺@funydude -Dude were you by any chance on meth bc its 1198 lmao.
Noice
@funydude Yes , it has 1198 parts.... But yeah that's still a bunch. I feel shame....lol ..Z :)
@InfinityTechnology looks so cool but am I mistaken by "51,467" parts?
@InfinityTechnology Wow, I'm on a tablet so I couldn't open it but it is CLEARLY better than mine. Yeeesh that is sweet.... Z ;)
Haha I made one too ! are you willing to check out it?
@funydude lmao "fry an egg" good stuff. Lol
@Zaineman oh lol, it's fine because I checked the parts before downloading, otherwise my tablet might've had the temperature to fry an egg..
@funydude sorry about the mobile tag, it's force of habit. I figured if it works on my tablet then it should work on a phone. BUT my wif speed is 300. oops
@Zaineman oh get better buddy, wish you the best
why does this have mobile friendly tag lol
Hope you get well soon.... @Zaineman
dude at least u should make 747sp shorter 😓
Get well soon Zaine @Zaineman
@CanadianAircraftBuilder sorry to know about the mess up with credits. Both @Zaineman and myself deeply respect others work. @XAircraftManufacturer @SimplePlanesJP11
@Zaineman that's sad to hear
@XAircraftManufacturer I went to the doctor today. She says it's a sinus infection. I feel like a train ran over my face. It's only 6pm in Michigan and I think I'm going to bed 🤒
@Zaineman hope you feel better soon comrade!
@CanadianAircraftBuilder This has been fixed. You can read the comments if you would like to know what happened.. :) Z
@XAircraftManufacturer @SimpleplanesJP11 Hey guys I am sorry for not giving credt. What happened was I needed a 747 for the build (found one) then I did a private posting to show @winswings what I was working on. When I downloaded the plane back off the private post, it stripped ALL the previous designers off the aircraft. I had no idea who to give credit to until you spoke up. Credit is now in the description ! I would have done it sooner but I am very sick. I even took a Covid test (neg thank God) I hope my reputation speaks for itself when I say I always give credit where it's due. Z ; )
@Zaineman hey uh you should make a L.A.G version of this and if you don't I will. oh and L.A.G stands for Low Altitude Gunship
I know the abbreviation of it is funny but I've seen worse
@SeeNoEvil I'm sorry dude. Lol . There's an instrument panel absolutely packed with gauges at the engineering station and you can fly the aircraft from that station just by looking at the gauges. There's one set of every single gauge for each of the four engines. LMAO that's a lot of gauges ! ! Lol
my phone would suffer and never turn on again if I downloaded this
