@Clutch funny thing is, I actually did this. There was a flood that hit my house, and a railing from some other house washed up in our lawn. Since then, I’ve been finding nails, and fixing them to the end of the railing with heaps of wood glue, creating a sort of brutal mad-max melee weapon
Put it in some water, allow it to rust for a bit. Fix it to a piece of wooden railing, repeat until satisfied. Now you have a Tetanus Bludgeon, enjoy!
