(TO ACTIVATE AFTERBURNERS PRESS 1) The IM-23 is the last of Imanovs jet fighters. Capable of reaching 2092kmh (1300mph) the IM-23 was designed as a short range interceptor, and was almost accepted into Soviet Service. However, Imanov himself decided to fly the demonstration plane, being shown the Premier himself. Unfortunately for Imanov, during a loop, a malfunction caused the afterburners to kick in half-way, and he slammed into the ground, obliterating the plane, a fuel tanker, and himself. The other 7 prototypes were put into storage alongside his other aircraft. In memory of Imanov, we've decided to sell you the IM-23, but do be aware, the afterburner can cause a nasty accident if used incorrectly.
