(XP)JPAA D Series Prototype

90 Scourgex14  7.9 years ago

Before the JPAA airframe was declared obsolete and redundant, the designers at AAD began work on the D series airframes for the JPAA. The airframe itself was an intensely modified A model variant, with the additions including the aerodynamic intakes, delta wing design, and front facing elevators, were all improvements upon the original design. New ideas were incorporated early on in the design phases of the aircraft, including the core principles of multi role varients, which ment that the airframe could be modified to perform any given task with the correct kit/equipment.
Sadly though, the BOMA (Bureo of Military Aviation) declined the airframe in favor of the newly developed Isolator prototype, and the JPAA was deemed partially obsolete, marking the end of the JPAA service life.
