Meant as a passenger airliner, the TP-38 became, instead, a landing gear testbed. 1.9 brought with it a new part reconnect menu so the idea was conceived to try and make eagle-claw style landing gear found on most modern wide-body airliners. It doesn't like being on mobile, but it works on my phone which is mid-spec so it should be fine.
