This is the first sailboat replica I've made that has working sails! It sails best in 35 mph of wind and can sail at an average speed of 50 mph. Controlling the boat can be a bit tricky. Try starting of with the wind 90 degrees on your left or right, then let the sail out 45 degrees.
If your having trouble sailing, here's a video of me sailing the boat.

[Controls] IMPORTANT
VTOL - Sail control
Throttle - Lifts the bow of the boat to stop it from ploughing into the water. Don't use to much or you will lose control of the boat.
TRIM - Rolls the boat to counteract the leaning force of the sails.
Roll - Steering
When tacking, remember to center the TRIM tab and have throttle at 0%.

@Rcb1235 Foiling is really hard in SP, but you’ve made a very successful attempt at doing so. Well done! 👍👍👍
Extra upvotes for the boat being the ETNZ one. 😃
@MK82 Both the foiling and steering are controled with 2 giros hidden in the hull. Try turning them off when you get up to speed. The boat doesn't like it but it can still can sail a bit
really really nice. let's try it upwind. how do you control the foiling? gyro?
I´ve never tested a better working sailboat in SP, this thing is awesome! thanks
it's awesome man
Damn that one looks so much better than mine, at least my one is faster
Well done, I have also made one of these, sadly it's not as good as yours, You should check it out
@Andrewgarrison this should be featured
Wow! Very impressive!! It can actually sail on a reach without loosing its heading
@SlowJet Thanks!
@RailfanEthan Here it is!
