Mig-82 Project 28361
MiG-82 (Project 28361) - The Russian Answer to the F-35
After the Soviet Union’s collapse, Russia sought to counter NATO’s F-35 with a next-gen multirole stealth fighter: the MiG-82. Known internally as Project 28361, this advanced aircraft combined a stealthy, radar-resistant fuselage with diamond-shaped wings and a unique V-tail angled just 5 degrees upward—eliminating the need for a traditional vertical stabilizer. It carried six long-range air-to-air missiles and four short-range IR-guided missiles, with state-of-the-art sensors and electronic warfare capabilities.
Designed to dominate airspace and handle diverse missions, the MiG-82 struggled with budget cuts, and only a few prototypes were completed. Though short-lived, it became a symbol of Russian engineering prowess, its legacy sparking occasional rumors of a revival to meet modern threats.
Features:
6 Long Range A-A missiles
4 Short Range IR guided A-A missiles
A gun
And holy cow is fuselage splicing so hard to do
