Defender ADS
A mid-high-altitude air defense system based on the Interceptor B missile. The Interceptor B was designed to improve lethality against Hades cruise missiles, and now against the threat of Luftstreitkrafte Teuton bombers. On the Defender system, it can detect, track, and destroy targets. within a 45 degree arc. This system was designed to be used in coordination with other systems such as Skysweeper ADS and other Defender systems. The concept is to have a layered air defense system consisting of low-altitude, mid-altitude, and high-altitude systems. This system fulfils the latter two, where the Skysweeper fills in the former. In coordination with fighters, this will ensure that enemy aircraft will never be safe, no matter how high they fly. This unit is a training unit with three launchers and one radar station. A radar station can control between 1 and 10 such systems, and each system can take input from up to five systems, in case the main radar site is destroyed. On Maywar Island, this system was used in a ground attack role, knocking out the radar systems of the Teuton airfield, taking advantage of their ability to lock onto radar emissions.

@Pilotmario K
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation This system shot down lots of your bombers in the GWW2.
@Pilotmario Oh. This is so generic but ok.
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation
I suppose. @PINK
Can you scale up a Inferno to be just as long, and twice as wide? @Pilotmario
You're welcome! @BogdanX
@BogdanX The Defender is rarely, if ever, used by itself. This system is designed to be used with other systems defending other sectors in strategic sites with interlocking zones. This system is designed to support interceptors, allowing them to focus on more contested areas.
Therefore, if a target is behind the system, then there will either be fighters or other systems to defend that sector. If there isn't and the site is destroyed as a result, then the commanding officer, usually a major, will be sacked for failure to properly implement strategy, and will be moved to another posting.
