Since the 1950s, NIASO-Bordeaux has become a leader in the production and fielding of Light Aircraft. The company first dedicated Observation Liasion and Attack Light Aircraft, the AO-17 Wildcat, made it's first flight in August 21, 1956. Since 1958, more than 1000 Wildcats had been produced, mostly under Overseas Deployment Requirement programs.
