FN 2200
During the later part of the greatest war a very unique design was rolled out onto carrier decks. This slightly unusual looking planes was known as the FN 2200. The concept was simple, make a fighter with the rugged reliably and range of a B-37 and also make it maneuverable incase things get saucy. The soultion to this problem was to make it a two engine fighter but that lead to another problem. How does one pilot efficienly handle two engines alone on 8+ hour flights ? Simple add a onboard enginer who doubles as a navigator ! This aircraft was a favorite among Pilots because of its ablillty to lose ether engine and keep flying. They also loved it because they didn't have to worry about their engine controls while fighting. I hope you enjoy this fictional piece of history and don't forget to comment !
