Limited Ammo Gun (Updated, Free to Use)

Updated! When you run out of ammo, stop on the ground and hit Fire Weapons will reload the gun!

What's this?

This is the gun with limited ammo. The original guns in the game have unlimited ammo and it's annoying for users who want realistic guns. The funky trees control the activation of the gun, if you run out of the ammo, the gun will be deactivated.

How to use it?

Just drag the gun and save it as a subassembly, and also remember to copy the FIRST THREE VARIABLES (The last one is optional, in case you want to count how many times you fired the guns.) to your own build.

How to customize the ammo and rounds per second?

The default ammo is 900 and the default rounds per second is 100. You can change it by editing the gun's XML and modifying the variables. Please make sure that the XML and variables have the same values.

    Updated: The gun will be reloaded when you stop on the ground and hit the Fire Weapons button.

    Sorry for one thing I forgot to mention: you need to set the gun's burstCount in the XML to a very large number (like 10000) so that the ammo count will be correct. Don't set it to 0, this will make the gun's bullet trace look wired.

    @Ooflauncher1 Not really. Why the devs still didn't give us an ammo limiter thing already that actually works is beyond me tho... ammoCount is a completely dysfunctional xml variable. Either way, this thing we have here is nice.

    @MrCOPTY I just updated this and add a "reload" function. The gun will be reloaded when the player is stopped on ground and hit the Fire Weapons button.

    @Ooflauncher1 Yeah I tried this, but as long as you didn't reach the burst count in a single shot, you can have unlimited ammo.

    Bro you could’ve just set the burstCount property to however much ammo then change the timeBetweenBursts property’s value to like 99999999
