The D-85 Ostrich is a further development of the D-75. It entered the production stage in 1962 to 1963 (D-85A). It operated from 1963 up to 1982.

CONTROL:

VTOL = Flaps
AG1 = Release all weapons
AG2 = Arester hook
AG7 = Ejection seat
AG8 = Weapons activation

D-85 was meant to answer the demand for a new fighter that have a strong air frame, agility, and have a large place for more weapons. The other nation fighter also have acces for Air-to-Air missile that concern many of our pilots.

The tight time and difficult development forced DDVC to cooperate with other companies for the development of this aircraft. Enggrang Engineering Boreau (EEB) responsible for the development of this aircraft engine.

Unfortunately the engine has not been fully developed resulting in reduced capabilities of this aircraft. Since there was no engine development from DDVC, the D-85 was forced to use the EEB engine for a while.

When tested with fighter squadron, no one wanted to receive this plane. But when tested by the attacker squadron, they surprisingly liked it. They say it have a smooth control and not too rough like the D-75, and its slow speed allows pilots to hit the enemy easyer because they have more time to aim.

7 Years later DDVC finally develop a new engine for the D-85F, the maneuverability also increase. What about the EEB? After the engine was turned down, they were told by the pilots that it was quiet and efficient. So they redeveloped the engine and ended up producing a commercial jet. Everyone welcomed the arrival of the new efficient and silent Airliner. They change the company name to Enggrang Airline Engineering Boreau.

(Despite its name, they still producing some military transport craft)

D-85A arm with:
30 Unguided rockets
2 Machine guns
24 250lb Bombs
4 AASM-01 Meteor
And plenty of flares
There also one additional hard points on the main fuselage for other stuff.

Note:

The story might change if needed.

Regard, DDCV.
