TAF-6 PALADIN Mk.1
TAF-6 PALADIN
Fictitious setting
The aircraft was designed under the Tactical Airfighter, commonly known as the TAF program, and was manufactured based on the previous TAF-5 model.
Details
Research and development proceeded with a view to improving mobility and renewing avionics.
Particularly aggressive development was conducted on engines, which are the lifeblood of an aircraft. Research proceeded in the belief that further maneuverability could be achieved by creating a powerful engine equipped with a thrust deflector nozzle, rather than just an engine capable of producing afterburners, as was the case in the past.
Since not much research has been done on avionics, it was decided to equip only what was necessary and sufficient.
Through these modifications, the aircraft has gained high maneuverability and high stability.
