Note: Engine bug is NOW fixed

A challenging livery to make, but it was worth it. this is the Northwest Airlines 747 in the bowling shoe livery. It is one of my favourites :D

About the aircraft

The Boeing 747-400 is a large, long-range wide-body airliner produced by Boeing Commercial Airplanes, an advanced variant of the initial Boeing 747. The "Advanced Series 300" was announced at the September 1984 Farnborough Airshow, targeting a 10% cost reduction with more efficient engines and 1,000 nautical miles (1,900 km) of additional range. Northwest Airlines (NWA) became the first customer with an order for 10 aircraft on October 22, 1985. The first 747-400 was rolled out on January 26, 1988, and made its maiden flight on April 29, 1988. Type certification was received on January 9, 1989, and it entered service with NWA on February 9, 1989.

About Northwest airlines

Northwest Airlines Corp. was a major American airline founded in 1926 and absorbed into Delta Air Lines, Inc. by a merger. The merger, approved on October 29, 2008, made Delta the largest airline in the world until the American Airlines-US Airways merger on December 9, 2013.

this reminded me of an urbex video on youtube where some guys went to an abandoned airfield which has this exact same plane sitting on that place for a long time. they also went into that plane and climbed the wings and the roof (especially the front where the 2nd floor is)
Update: One of these things had its front cut off and the cut off part was placed in an aviation museum as a 747 exhibit
