Based on an enlarged F-5 airframe, the S.F-200 Pégaso is a light fighter intended to adress some of the issues pertaining to payload capacity, geared towards enhanced strike capability. It quickly gained a reputation as one of Socrux's most agile and responsive fighter aircraft, and is particularly well-suited as an air-to-air guns platform.
Apart from its overall larger size, the most distinctive feature that sets the Pégaso apart from the Tiger II which it was based upon are shifted proportions caused by the employement of far larger, more powerful engines to accommodate the payload requirements of the craft, giving it a much wider silhouette.
