This was a failed model of the 2057, where they put uber powerful engines on the back, swapping the original engines. What happened was that at full throttle, once the jet got to 2,000 MPH, it simply disintegrated in the air, killing both pilots in it, and no parts were ever found. The wings were reported to have been flopping and bending in ways never intended, and it ended up stopping this version from ever being produced nor modified.
