S7-21

The S7-21 ( nicknamed "Hang Tuah") was made in 1972 and was put into production in 1973 to compete with fighter jets like the F-15 F-14 and the much later F-18. The aircraft is the successor to the SkyHawk S7-11 trainer aircraft, and was put out of production in 2020 and was replaced by the S7-41 (coming soon)

Hang Tuah (Jawi: ?? ?????, from /tuha/ or /toh/ (???)[1]), according to the semi-historical Malay Annals (Sejarah Melayu), was a warrior and Laksamana (equivalent to modern-day Admiral) who lived in Malacca during the reign of Sultan Mansur Shah in the 15th century.[2] However, there is limited historical evidence for his existence.[3] He was supposedly a great laksamana, or admiral, a diplomat and a silat master. Hang Tuah is the most illustrious warrior figure in Malay literature. He is however, a somewhat controversial figure and there is much in dispute about the factual basis of Hang Tuah's story.
