The AVR-100 (AV Regional) was AVs (although late) answer to the growing popularity of the AIRTAXI series of regional aircraft, it was around the same size but using 2 of the newest turbo-prop engines it was faster and more efficient then it's contemporaries, both Jets and and props alike. the AVR-100 became fairly popular among both old AIRTAXI Operators and newer regional carriers focusing more on efficiency, It continues serving to this day with many airlines.
