F-14 Tomcat
(Excuse me for any grammar or spelling problems. High-school tires me out) A good friend of mine's favorate fighter of all time. I must say this plane does indeed have incredible performance, fenominal legacy, unique grace, and intimidating yet gorgeous looks. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you...the tomcat. I've personally dedicated this aircraft to lovers of this plane and real flyers alike. To show my gratitude for this aircraft providing what I'd definitely call a "danger-zone" to anyone who dares come even close to her radar cone, (enough gushing I know) anyway I tried to make her specifacations as realistic as possible, while being able to operate from the nimitz carrier. Moving on to flying characteristics, she handels well while flying, just don't roll too fast while the wings swept back, or else she'll desintegrate. Aaanyway here her action groups: AG1: main engines AG2: vtol motors (I installed these as a method of flying better in slow flight, but mainly installed so you can stop on the carrier. Thats right. You should have the main engines shut down and use the vtols to keep a steady, gentle decent onto the deck for approach. Use 50% throttle on the vtol to simulate slow flight (the real thing had much more lift than mine because of boundry-layer engine bleed systems. Anyway as soon as you touch down move the slider controling the vtol all the way back and go to full throttle.) You may have to steer while doing this, so also have AG3 on which activates the nose steering. AG4 activates the wing sweeping bearings. Never push the slider above the halfway mark or, your center of lift will move too far foward. AG5 and 6 do nothing. One more tip bit because I know this is long. Be careful in the rolling axis. Especially when the wings are swept all the way back. Have fun, and good luck! P.S. Feel free at add weaponry to her ;)
