In the future, Scimitar is the main private aviation company. The last of the long line of planes is the P Class, that is, until the apocalipse. After the apocalipse, people started duct taping guns and other weapons on their planes and paint was scraped off... and over time, lots of these went into disrepair and the handling, takeoff time, and ability to maintain level flight declined.
