737-800 Turkish Airlines 1951 TC-JGE
The crash of Turkish Airlines Flight 1951 occurred on 25 February 2009 at about 10: 26 local time. A Turkish Airlines Scheduled Flight 1951 Boeing 737-800 with registration code TC-JGE from Istanbul International Airport in Türkiye to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, the Netherlands, During the descent, due to a malfunctioning altimeter on the left side of the aircraft, the computer operating system mistakenly thought the aircraft had landed, and the auto throttle slowed down and pulled the steering wheel back to pull up the nose. And the three pilots did not pay attention to the altitude, eventually causing the plane to stall and crash 3 kilometers away from the airport, the aircraft was divided into three parts, did not cause a fire. Nine people were killed and 120 injured in the accident.
