This is the Ghost P-40, or as I like to call it, the Frankenfighter. This cobbled together plane was actually the product of a resistance group on Mindanao island in the Philippines. It was stripped of all armor and wing guns, while the nose guns were kept just in case. Due to the left landing gear being missing, the resistance group put together a skid using bamboo and scrap metal that would fall off during takeoff. It was originally going to be piloted by an important Filipino general, but some other person flew it because the Filipino general wouldn’t. It later crashed in a rice field after attacking a base in occupied Taiwan, 12/8/42. Kudos to whoever made the previous.
Edit: I forgot to mention, they put on a 50 gallon underbelly fuel tank to help the plane make it to China
