T5 MBT (First Series)
Maneuver Combat Vehicle Program…. Light MBT… yada yada yada
The Rem State Heavy Industry also participated in the MCVP, producing the T5 to replace the T4B. The T5 was a complete overhaul of the previous Tank. The design was favored by Congress and was chosen to replace the T4B. Despite this, the autoloader was unreliable, and the vehicle performed poorly on terrain other than flat ground.
Controls:
- Act1(pitch + roll): Hull controls
- Act2(yaw + trim): Turret controls
- Act3(yaw + trim): HMG turret controls
Sparrow Missile System:
Along with an improved 125mm gun, the first series of T5s featured the Sparrow Missile System. The Sparrow is a fire-and-forget missile that omits the need to lock on to targets. The system proved more of a liability to the T5 and was removed in later models.
Controls:
Select a target, then the missile, and then launch.
The Sparrow can be fired from nearly any position.
The Sparrow works better at range, but it’s not impossible to use it under 300 meters.
I haven’t figured out how to add more, so one shot is all you’re getting.
The First Series T5 would have had 5 Sparrows.
