VTOL x-men type jet
I'm actually kinda proud of this one.
A VTOL supersonic jet.
Group 1 : VTOL engines
Group 2 : supplementary engines
Group 5 : lights
Group 8 : gyro
VTOL engines are tied to the throttle.
Supplementary engines are tied to VTOL slider, neutral 0%, forward 100%.
Takeoff procedure: activate all groups (1,2,5,8) set throttle to 50% to liftoff and retract gear. Gain a bit of altitude (enough to transition) set VTOL slider to forward and throttle to 100%. Once you're flying deactivate gyro.
VTOL landing is a bit trickier, I don't really have a clean way to do it lol. Pretty much just trial and error. Normal landing should be alright though.
With throttle 0% while flying, the VTOL engines will power down and the supp. Engines will provide thrust (a bit slow though)
To shutdown supp. Engines: throttle to 0% and VTOL slider neutral. Deactivate group 2. VTOL slider back to forward and throttle back up.
