Introduction

I saw some artwork where a SAAB Gripen had been presented with a Canadian leaf on the top and I thought that looks swell, it didn't take much pondering as to why someone may have designed such a thing...

Anyway i decided that i didn't want to design a Gripen alternative but rather something slightly larger and more in keeping with my normal design style so I used a bit of Viggen, a bit of EE Lightning, a bit of Mig 21 and then mashed it all together to create the Foudre.

It has my awesome pettle airbrake system which also pops a bit when the reheat kicks in, suspension to all 3 legs, a fun flight system (i had to tone it down as it was pulling well over 8g...)

Controls

AG1 = start engine
AG2 = enable reheat (kicks in on 90% plus throttle)
AG3 = air brakes
AG6 = drop fuel tanks
Trim = elevator trim
Note: canard control surfaces are used to limit G forces to 8, you will see them retract if you are pulling enough BUT initially you will be pulling more G as the funkytree code takes a second or so to react.

Armament

2no. Meteor (BVRAAM)
2no. AIM 9 Sidewinders
2no. 20mm Aden cannon
2no. 2250ltr drop tanks (well if they land on you it counts as a weapon right?)
