Wright Model 85A
Hello ladies and gents! I present to you my entry for Eternal Darkness's challenge!
Development
In 1948 General Aviation was back on the rise, so the executive's at Wright Aviation. co (before 1979 Wright Air. co was know as the Wright Aviation. co) decided to catch the train early with the Model 25. Unfortunatly the aircraft was a marketing failure, thus demanding a brand new replacement. And in 1954 it was designed, with a projected test flight at the end of 1955, as with many aircraft she had problems that delayed her first flight till August 14 1957. On the December of that same year She was released to the public, and was met with instant success. Pilots of all skill levels loved it for it's simplisity, and ease of handling. Over a thirteen year production run, 3,733 were produced, with 350 being licenced built by Sajuria. 800 of these lovley aircraft went into the Wright Air Force as light bomber trainers. Even today it's legacy is still strong among avid aviation enthusiats.
