Vortex VRA.4

Auto Credit Based on AeroTactical's (Open) Turboprop attack challenge

The Vortex VRA.4 is a VSTOL tilt-rotor combat aircraft. It is designed for sustained multirole operations from any base type, including those developed for helicopters.

Due to its extremely powerful engines that harness cutting edge technologies and materials - specifically developed for this aircraft - it can take off and land vertically with full fuel and combat loads. The large fuel capacity and fuel efficient nature of its powerplants give the Vortex a wide combat radius and long on-station times.

Equipped with advanced multirole sensors, the Vortex can engage targets on land, sea and air at long ranges and with high efficiency. The fire control system allows for rapid acquisition and weapons employment, allowing for the engagement of multiple targets in a single pass.

This example is equipped with:
- 16x AAGM
- 2x JMRM
- 1x 27mm 6-barrel rotary cannon

Controls:
- AG3 = VTOL auto-stabilization (ALWAYS ENGAGE WITH VTOL/TRANSITION FLIGHT)
- VTOL = rotate engine nacelles

Flight Parameters & pilot's notes:
- Hover at ~25% throttle, above that is takeoff
- VTOL-level flight transition slowly, keeping autostab engaged until level
- Transition to VL in a similar, measured manner (remember autostab AG3)
- Aircraft has a slight tendency to over-roll
- Aircraft can fly with engines at VTOL=+50% for reduced speed & some
increased maneuverability, but down-trim is required. Autostab is not
required in this regime as long as it is implemented when in forward flight.

This is my first challenge submission, please be gentle
